Over the weekend, I attended the African Cultural and Design Festival and the very much anticipated GTBank Fashion Weekend. Well, here’s how it went;
AFRICAN CULTURE AND DESIGN FESTIVAL 2017
This took place at the Balmoral center, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. I loved how the entrance looked, you could already feel the artistic vibes from the entrance and the interiors were also good, simple and elegant.
I fell in love with all the artworks, the beauty, diversity in them all and yet you could feel that £EverythingNaArt. While, there, I met Kat of Art House Contemporary and we both decided to have fun with quirky furniture.
This was a competition organized by Sterling Bank (a co-sponsor of the event), in which contestants made use of waste products from Lagos, Abuja, Rivers and to create art in any form well,here’s some of the works of the contestants. The creativity was so astounding and kudos to everyone that went through!

The Paris, Italy and Los Angeles outdoor aesthetics was indeed pleasing to the eyes and make for awesome picture backdrop, also the Untold story of Diana Fashion Installation, exquisite look and designs!
I alos found my friend Fola who thought it might be fun to sly me (lol) well, she became my fashion weekend buddy
I attended both the Day 1 and Day 2 events, Though, I didn’t attend the runway shows for both, I learnt quite a lot from the masterclass and I will be sharing soon, stay tuned!
